Year 2 to 3 Applications
If your child is in Year 2 at an Essex infant school, you can apply for a September 2024 Year 3 (junior school) place between 6 November 2023 and 15 January 2024.
If you live in the Essex County Council area, but your child is at an infant school outside Essex, you need to contact the school's local authority or speak to your child’s current school to find out how to apply for a Year 3 school place.

Mid-Year Applications
Mid-year Applications: Please note that from 1 April 2022 all other applications, excluding applications for Year 3 places each September, are processed by the school. For mid-year places parents/carers will need to compete the school’s application forms below.

In accordance with statutory guidance from the Department of Education, the school policies are available on this website. Hard copies are also available free on request from the school office.
Appeals
If your child is not offered a place at your preferred school, you can appeal against the decision following the Essex appeals process which is found on the below website:
