Assembly with Haq from Southend Mosque

On Wednesday 14th June, Year 6 enjoyed a talk with Haq, from Southend Mosque. He talked about the Five Pillars of Islam, sharing his personal experiences of how these principles guide his life. He showed his prayer mat and his personal copy of the Qa'ran. He also kindly donated a copy of the Qa'ran to the school to assist our studies in future years. The children thoroughly enjoyed his visit, and we are grateful to Haq for enriching their RE education.
