Aims and objectives
We aim to inspire children with a broad, balanced and creative curriculum, tailored to meet their needs and interests, which challenges and develops positive learning habits and growth mindsets in order that they achieve well and make good progress.
We provide flexibility in the organisation of our timetable and curriculum to maximise creative learning opportunities.
Practitioners build trust and respect so that effective feedback, support and direction is given to move learning forward. Children become confident, independent learners who thrive on challenge and are resilient when facing setbacks.
Learning is purposeful, integrating core-skills from across the curriculum and prepares children for the next stage of their education.
Pupils are given a sense of community and belonging and are helped to build positive relationships, as well as have respect for themselves and for the ideas and cultures of others.
We support effective learning by ensuring our pupils are mindful of the importance of keeping healthy both physically, through diet and exercise, and mentally.
