Last term our Year 6s collaborated to put together a wide range of well dressing designs as part of a special project with AGES, a local historical group.
Congratulations to Albert, Lewis, Alice and Jack for their winning entry of Hadleigh Castle below and to Freddie, Jake, Lucy and Zoe for their NHS rainbow entry, which was judged as the runner-up. The 4 winners are each to receive an AGES project pen and a hand crafted wooden pen, with the runners up receiving and AGES project pen. Well done to all our past Year 6s for their efforts and thank you to AGES for working with the school on this project– the children and staff learnt a lot about well dressings and their importance to our community in the past.
All well dressing entries can be viewed at Hadleigh Old Fire Station Heritage Open Day on Sunday 12th September, 10:30am— 4pm.
