Additional Schoolwork

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you and your child/children have found the set schoolwork, for the closure period, useful. The amount set is intended to last 4 school weeks, not including the Easter Holiday. Therefore, the current work provided should, in most cases, last until 1st May. However, we appreciate that children will be working at a different pace when at home and so we will be setting additional work on 24th April. This will be sent to you via ParentMail and will be made available on our website (

This work will:

  • cover a 4 week period;
  • include activities with a well-being focus;
  • provide links to the 75th anniversary of VE Day;
  • provide links to Science Week;
  • provide links to online lesson materials;
  • and set work for particular subject areas.

In addition to this, I am pleased to inform you that we are able to provide all families with free access to Education City. This online learning platform will provide your child with a wide range of curriculum learning activities that they can complete independently. Work is marked instantly. Some of our children will already be very familiar with this resource.
