Boys Football Team 2016-2017

Last night, the Year 5/6 football team played their second match of the season away at Thundersley Primary school.  The boys great teamwork was evident with fantastic fluid passing.  Their effort and work rate was great to see.  Their efforts were rewarded with two fantastic goals scored by Reilly and Farrell.  The eventual result was a 2-2 draw.

Yesterday, our Year 5 and 6 students represented the school at a 7 a-side football tournament organised by the Castle Point and Rochford School Sports Partnership (C.P.R.S.S.P).  There were 19 schools from the area involved in the competition, with some really talented players on show.  The boys were a real credit to the school showing a fantastic attitude, both on and off the pitch.  They played 5 games in total and finished with the following results;-

0-0 draw against South Benfleet

1-0 win against Lubbins Park (scorer Sam Tarbard)

1-0 defeat against Grove Wood

0-0 draw against Hockley
