Due to our current PPA teacher becoming one of our class teachers we are are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher to join our enthusiastic, friendly and dedicated school community. The role involves teaching an area of specialism across years 3 to 6 on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

An exciting, multi-faceted role has become available. Therefore, we are seeking to appoint an excellent TA/HLTA to join our enthusiastic, friendly and dedicated school community.

We are looking for candidates with the necessary skill set and passion to support pupil learning as a Teaching Assistant each morning. The HLTA PE Specialist role will involve supporting the development of PE across the school, assisting teachers, organising sporting events, clubs and teams as well as collaborating with our PE Apprentice to ensure the highest standards of curriculum and extra-curriculum opportunities for our students in line with effective use of the Sports Premium.

Days and times are negotiable.

Midday Assistant-

 

 

Midday Salary Range: Band 1 Points 7 to 10 - depending on experience.

Rate per hour: between £7.83 - £8.09

 

Required for the Summer term, 6.25 hours per week, term time only.

 

We require an enthusiastic and caring midday assistant to work 5 lunchtimes a week.

 

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

· the ability to engage children through rich play experiences and opportunities

The Benfleet Teaching School Alliance will be hosting a Recruitment Event for applicants to learn more about Primary and Secondary places for our Initial Teacher Training programme for 2019/20.

 

This event will include a short presentation about the various routes into teaching and how the teacher training programme works at BTSA. There will also be an opportunity to observe lessons.

The ITT Coordinator will be available to discuss the questions you may have regarding the application process, funding and bursaries.
